Hotel Spa Dr Irena Eris Krynica Zdrój 12+

This is a divine hotel. We have been coming here for Christmas almost every year for the past 10 years, so I can say most about the hotel at this particular time of the year. The hotel is more boutique size which we like very much, as it doesn't feel crowded even during such a busy time as Christmas. The food is what I probably enjoy most, the breakfast is good but the lunch and dinners are so delicious that I would like to eat everything even though I am often too full. Breakfast is in the form of a buffet with standard options such as eggs, porridge (oatmeal) etc. which can be ordered a la carte, without any additional charge. The lunch and dinner in the Christmas offer follow the structure of bread, amuse bouche, a choice of a starter or soup, main course and dessert. While living in London I have visited multiple Michelin-starred restaurants over the years and I can confidently say that the food quality is very high here. Most of the years we were lucky to get enough snow and so be able to ski/snowboard on the nearby mountain called Jaworzyna Krynicka. In the event of the lack of snow, the nearby town is worth visiting or one could spend more time indulging and relaxing at the spa. It is worth mentioning that during the Christmas period the treatments get booked fairly quickly. The staff along with the food is where the hotel shines, they are very helpful and well-trained going above and beyond to accommodate the needs of their guests. Christmas Eve is in the form of a plated dinner where traditional dishes are served in a slightly modernised way (but don't worry, the "Barsch" or "Barszcz" is still going to be there). During the dinner, Christmas carols are played and the guests are encouraged to sing along if they feel like it. Santa Claus makes an appearance too bearing gifts for the kids. The dress code during dinners is smart. Overall the hotel is fantastic, it is my family's tradition to come here every year, and I cannot imagine Christmas without this hotel. I would highly recommend it to everyone.

Good for Poles wishing to be abroad - not recommended for foreigners visiting Poland. Staff does not speak English or French. Just to be clear we are talking here a plus 200€ / night hotel. Maybe the hotel was the best in the area few years ago - today there are better options around. Room ok, with nice soft bed, bathroom starts to show age and scale on corners, carpet used up. Nice breakfast - the only time you can get Polish food. Otherwise lunch and evening nice but totally overpriced. The worst for the last : absolutely poor information on the sky slopes that are 200m away. Nothing on display - need to squeeze out info from staff. You can get info by asking and they will look up on the net but - they don't even have the slopes maps and pass prices available ! What a waste of such a privileged location close to the slopes.

A really good hotel. Well located i.e just a walking distance to Jaworzyna ski area. Absolutely great SPA - swimming pool with a view on the skiing slopes. A very good Thai restaurant. Clean and well organized. Good for family stays with kids as everything closes around 10 pm. Service very good but usually in a hurry to catch up last bus home.

Great place to relax and SPA treatments my wife was in haven , breakfast bar its amazing we don't know when to stop eat, haha. Location was perfect great distance from city ,so walking and trial hiking was perfect. Staff in hotel was good but we have filing like they don't want to be engage with conversation just do my job and smile maybe this is hotel formula. Once or twice you going to see stiff and money paralytic person-you know the type but over all was amazing.Older part hotel needs face lift ASP, bathrooms walls and carpet in our room was just old, beds needs upgrade, please if someone tell me he likes this bed that's mean you never sleep on good mattress. And last please when you upgrade install mosquito screen on balcony door, I really want to enjoy fresh mountain air but to many flying visitors in our room force us to shoot door and use AC.
